When the Northeast season slows down, Fish The Fork heads south. Winter trips focus on inshore fly fishing and light tackle for redfish, speckled trout, and other Gulf Coast species in shallow marsh and bay systems.
These trips offer:
• Sight-fishing in clear winter water
• Technical fly and light tackle opportunities
• Mild winter weather
• Prime off-season fishing

Bottom fishing charters from May to November.
These trips are great for all skill levels, especially beginners and kids! This style of fishing is known for its fun, action-packed days. We catch a variety of species, including porgies, blowfish, weakfish, kingfish, and blackfish. The boat launches out of New Suffolk or Greenport, but we can pick up clients from Southampton, Shelter Island, Sag Harbor, and beyond.
